beautiful mechanica aka European singer songwriter Graham Sampson is a London based Dreampop artist and international stage performer. His work draws comparison to Cocteau Twins with echoes of artists such as Gary Numan, Japan and John Foxx.
In 2023 Graham welcomed Steve Bellamy (synths and programming) Warren Farr (drums) and Ian Medany (bass) into the band to develop the most exciting and individual live sound for the band yet. The band are now rehearsing for forthcoming live shows and recording material for release this year.
By way of live work, beautiful mechanica line-ups have supported Heaven 17, Big Country and Jesus Jones many times as well as Spear of Destiny, Chrysta Bell, Toyah, The Primitives, The Woodentops, Martin Rev.
Over the course of his discography and live performances, Graham has collaborated with trusted musical partners such as Van Naarden, Grace Hicks, Porcelain, Martin Okasili and actor Luisa Prosser.
As well as live work and digital music releases, Graham has provided music for independent film makers and has a focus on his work's placement within film and television production and live events

Original music for Film and Television
2019 - In collaboration with UK musician Martin Okasili, I wrote and produced original music for the independent short film "Dandelions" by Alina Portnova. The song "Swans " was used for it's closing sequence along with incidental music I wrote that featured in the background throughout the film
