Now in it's second incarnation, beautiful mechanica are founder Graham Sampson (voice, rhythm guitar), Dougal Clunie (lead guitar), Ian Medany (bass) Steve Bellamy (Keys) and Warren Farr (drums).
Between 2015 and 2019, Graham was joined by Van Naaden (guitar) and Grace Hinks (keys - Porcelain taking that role in 2015) in a three piece version with drums and bass provided as backing tracks.
By way of past live work, earlier beautiful mechanica line-ups have supported Heaven 17, Big Country and Jesus Jones many times as well as Spear of Destiny, Chrysta Bell, Toyah, The Primitives, The Woodentops, Martin Rev.
As well as live work and digital music releases, Graham has provided music for independent film makers and has a focus on his work's placement within film and television production and live events

In 2018 Graham's work was prestigiously invited into the British Library Sound Archive for permanent record of UK songwriters of this age.

Original music for Film and Television
2019 - In collaboration with UK musician Martin Okasili, I wrote and produced original music for the independent short film "Dandelions" by Alina Portnova. The song "Swans " was used for it's closing sequence along with incidental music I wrote that featured in the background throughout the film
